CONNECTING PANELS

A phillips head screwdriver is all that is required to assemble Teal Panels. They are connected with three machine screws. A 3/8" screw joins the center tab while 1/4" screws are used for both top and bottom tabs. The top and bottom tabs are slotted to allow for slight variations in size of panels.

GIRD STRAP

The panels are cinched together with a 2" wide nylon "gird strap" with a ratchet, and a 1" nylon strap at the top. When tightened, these straps squeeze the panels together and compress the gasket between the panels, creating a weather tight seal. Channels are provided in each panel for the strap to rest in.

DOOR FRAME ASSEMBLY

A door frame and door set is available for shelters. Two sizes are available for campers. One is 4' wide at the bottom and the other is 5' wide at the bottom. The assembly is fiberglass with an aluminum frame and 1-1/2" thick foam insulation. The doors are on lift-off hinges. The gird strap ratchet is mounted on the door frame. Electrical and gray water hookups can also be mounted on this frame.

FLOOR ATTACHMENT

The Teal panels can be attached to a floor using angle brackets and the bottom screw of each panel. A PVC floor liner is then laid over the floor and rolled up the sides to keep the floor dry. Flashing (not pictured) can also be used. Carpet or other floor covering can then be placed over the floor liner for a finished floor.

ANCHORING PANELS

Each Teal panel has a tie down 'D' ring on the outside that can be used to anchor the panel to a trailer, pickup, ground or floor surface. The 'D' ring is bolted through to a matching 'D' ring on the inside so any cargo loads are transferred through the ring to whatever structure the panel is anchored to.
